A Little About MARY...

A Geneva, N.Y., native, Mary is a passionate and experienced movement professional dedicated to building community through dance, wellness, and embodied practice.
Mary holds a dual Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Media & Society from
Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where she deepened her understanding of movement as both an art form and a powerful tool for communication. Following graduation, she expanded her knowledge of the human body through coursework in anatomy, physiology, nutrition, and psychology at Finger Lakes Community College – an academic path that continues to shape her holistic approach to teaching. Since 2016, Mary has served as an instructor and choreographer, teaching students across a wide range of genres. Her passion for movement eventually led her to yoga, and in 2019 she became a Certified Yoga Instructor (CYI) through the National Council for Certified Personal Trainers. Mary brings warmth, energy, and deep expertise to every class she leads. Her teaching is rooted in the belief that movement can transform not only bodies but lives.
I'm looking forward to moving with you!
